Asahel Curtis (1874-1941) was the brother of famed photographer Edward S. Curtis, and a distinguished landscape photographer in his own right. These photographs show Washington's Mount Olympus, Lake Crescent, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with the occasional logger and railroad line interspersed. with--a guide to Mount Rainier National Park issued by the Department of the Interior circa 1918 illustrated with numerous other Asahel Curtis photographs.
